In the Test, Kaia bowled 23 overs without picking up a wicket as Bangladesh cruised to a 220-run victory. “Concerns regarding the legality of the 29-year-old off-bowling spinner’s motion were raised in the match officials’ report, which was passed over to the Zimbabwe team management,” the ICC stated.

“An Expert Panel will now review video footage of Kaia’s bowling action from the match because attendance and evaluation at an ICC recognized testing center is not possible due to different constraints imposed by Covid-19.” Since his debut in2015, Kaia has played in three Tests and one One-Day International for Zimbabwe.
