Sathish was getting Started
Chepauk elected to take the field after winning the toss-a choice that paid off right away. In the second ball of the innings, Sathish had Tiruppur opener S Dinesh(0) caught by keeper N Jagadeesan. In the second over of the day, given by D Rahul, Sathish took a superb catch at slip diving to his left, dismissing S Siddharth (1). (1-13).
On a wicket that favored medium-pacers, the 40-year-old kept it tight. He kept the batters guessing by changing his pace. Sathish finished with a five-wicket haul after dismissing S Aravind(7), P Francis Rokins(0), Tushar Raheja(6), and R Rajkumar (0). While Francis and Rajkumar were caught leg-before, Aravind and Tushar have dismissed thanks to Jagadeesan’s superb catches behind the wickets.
After colleague Ramadoss Alexandar’s 5-9 versus Ruby Trichy Warriors in Tirunelveli in2019, Sathish’s bowling numbers were the second-best in the event. By the time Sathish finished his four-over quota, the game was already over. Tiruppur’s score was 30 for 6 in 7 overs. Tiruppur was in a terrible position at half-time, with a score of 43 for 7.
Dream Tiruppur Tamizhans 64 or 7 in 16.2 overs (R Sathish 5-10) vs Chepauk Super Gillies. Match abandoned due to rain.
