‘Tested Positive’ Mike Hussey Positive for COVID-19

Australian cricketer and batting coach Mike Hussey confirmed and tested positive for COVID 19.

Mike Hussey tested positive for COVID 19 and need to stay a bit longer in India to fulfill the ten days quarantine before he go back home. He is among the three members whom got infected of  COVID 19 in Chennai Super Kings camp.

Chennai Super Kings CEO have confirmed the contraction with the virus.

“Mike has unfortunately contracted Covid and he is still in Delhi. He will have to complete his quarantine protocols before he can leave for home,” the CEO official told.

Mike Hussey played 79 Tests and 185 ODIs, and will continue to fulfill the isolation requirements of the minimum of ten days. Mike Hussey and fellow coach L Balaji which tested positive also recently, are now staying together in separate room at Delhi’s ITC Maurya hotel for quarantine.

The both can leave as soon as possible if they are done completing the ten days isolation. The franchise is willingly arranged their flight back home via Maldives.

Eight Players Arrived Home

Meanwhile, The BCCI and the franchises have been managing the travel arrangements for chartered flights of the players that scheduled to go back home. However the England board confirms the eight England players have safely arrived home via commercial flight.
