Shakib and Mustafizur Heading Back Early

“We have asked them (Shakib and Mustafizur) to let us know what is their plan for the next 15 days while we have also asked the health ministry to know what kind of quarantine protocol the two players will need to follow,” BCB chief executive Nizamuddin Chowdhury told Cricbuzz.

“If the health ministry suggests that they will have to follow seven or 14 days quarantine, they will have to return earlier than scheduled from IPL. But before that, we have to know what rules will be in place for them,” he said. “We are bound by the Bangladesh Government rules, and will take decisions according to the guideline provided by the government.” he added.

Heading back Early

For the reason of quarantine protocol imposed by the health ministry, Shakib Al Hasan and Mustafizur Rahman sooner heading back early to Bangladesh sooner.

Bangladesh Cricket Board reduce the quarantine for their foreign staff players and coaches, but when COVID 19 second wave in India, the chances are small for relaxation coming from India or South Africa. Meanwhile the Bangladesh national team is returning from Sri Lanka and not expected to follow the same quarantine protocol.

Bangladesh Cricket Board are also looking to find out what quarantine protocol needs to be followed by travelers coming from South Africa. Their head coach Russell Domingo and fielding coach Ryan Cook are expected to return to South Africa and later join the Bangladesh team ahead of the home series against Sri Lanka.

The Bangladesh of Cricket Board are also seeking to which and what quarantine rule needs to be followed and execute by travelers coming from South Africa. Russell Domingo the head coach and fielding coach Ryan Cook are scheduled to return back to South Africa and will be joining the  Bangladesh team for of the home series against Sri Lanka
