Rahul Dravid To Coach Team India On Sri Lanka Tour

Head and a former Indian Skipper will lead the Indian limited-overs team to play against Sri Lanka in July.

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) official confirmed that the National Cricket Academy (NCA) head – Rahul Dravid would be leading the team as the trio of Ravi Shastri, Bharat Arun and Vikram Rathour will fly to England with the Test team.

Official Statements

“The Team India coaching staff will be in the UK and it is best that the young team is guided by Dravid as he has already worked with almost all of the India ‘A’ boys. The comfort the youngsters share with him will be an added advantage,” the official said.

Head of National Cricket Academy

The head of National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Rahul Dravid had worked hard with the current crop of youngsters in the Indian team at the U-19 level as well as in the India ‘A’ team.
Rahul Dravid seen to have played an essential role in building a solid bench strength for the national team over the last couple of years.
