Suresh Raina

After experienced a huge setback in previous seasons of Indian Premier League, Chennai Super Kings tried to fill in the Indian Premier League 2021 auction on Thursday. The franchise gained six players in Indian Premier League mini auction. While the team released most of the senior players the team showed a good faith in Suresh Raina, whom despite not being in the team last previous edition. Having Raina on the team will give much required skills in the middle- order something they might lack on last edition.

The Test Specialist

The Chennai Super Kings complete their full 25-member for squad for the upcoming season on Indian Premier League. MS Dhoni led side picked up the test specialist Cheteshwar Pujara for the price of Rs 50 lakh while spending around Rs 9025 crore on Krishnappa Gowtham. Along with them the team bought in Harishankar Reddy, Bhagath Verma and hari Nishanth for the price of Rs 20 lakh each so Chennai Super Kings squad spent the total of Rs 17035 crore for the six players.
