England Two test series against New Zealand was ranked to be the world’s number one team until the Team India pipped them. Only seven players to take part in the test match series out of 13 players in this Sri Lanka vs India.
Chris Silverwood Statements
“We haven’t looked at selection or anything like that for the Tests yet, but, for me, playing for your country is a big thing,” Silverwood said. “It’s difficult to change anything so they’ll be staying for the whole IPL as it stands, yes. Listen, we’ll be looking at the Test series and working our way back to see what sort of preparation we need and we haven’t done that at this time. It’s something we will be doing.”

England management want to have the players red-ball training before the first Test to require them to be available on March 30 2021. The Players also need to get back home to recover at least couple of days from India. England players will get back to UK on March 28 2021.
