England Cricketers Will Get A Break, But Not For IPL 2021
The England and Wales Cricket (ECB) are not going to adjust their schedule for the Indian Premier League (IPL)2021, according to Ashley Giles, managing director of the England men’s squad.

The IPL’s 14th season, which has been halted, is expected to take place in the UAE between September 15 and October15, with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) considering a 25-day window for the cash-rich tournament.
“See, at present, all plans need to be made keeping the COVID-19 situation in mind. But yes, tentatively, we are looking at the September 15 to October 15 window. We would like to have 25 days to complete the league,” BCCI said.

Ashley Giles Statement on Players that might be rested on phase
“intention of giving guys a break wouldn’t be for them to go and play cricket elsewhere.”
“We are going to have to give some of these guys a break at some point. But the intention of giving guys a break for, say, Bangladesh, wouldn’t be for them to go and play cricket elsewhere,”
“We have to manage our schedule now, so we get our guys arriving in the best shape possible for the T20 World Cup and the Ashes,”
