Indian Premier League 2021: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) bowling coach, have tested positive in COVID 19 test that leads to postponement of the few Indian Premier League games in Delhi.

Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore match was announced postponed in Ahmedabad.
Kolkata Knight Rides squad will undergo for six-day hard quarantine starting Sunday, after Varun Chakravarthy and Sandeep Warrier turned out to be positive for COVID 19. Chennai Super Kings squad is included for isolation after finding out the two players have been positive to the virus.

“Balaji’s positive report is certainly a cause of concern although the CSK players have tested negative. But normally, a lot of people start showing symptoms from the fifth or sixth day. There are discussions whether it is safe to go ahead with the next two matches in Delhi,” a senior BCCI told.

Meanwhile the president of DCCA Rohan Jaitley told that they don’t received any information with regards to re-scheduling and the case is Chennai Super Kings has recently played with Mumbai Indians.
“Balaji was in the dug-out and also before and after the match, he interacted with Mumbai Indians players which is natural. Now you can test everyday but just like KKR’s match has been postponed, it’s prudent if MI’s match against SunRisers Hyderabad on Tuesday and CSK’s game against Rajasthan Royals on Wednesday is rescheduled,” the official said.
