Bismah Maroof Retained in Category A Contracts
Bismah Maroof, who is now on maternity leave, has kept her Category A contract, while Nida Dar has been promoted to Category B for the 2021-22 season.

Maroof’s Contract Extension
In total, 20 women cricketers were signed, up from 18 the previous year. The extension of Maroof’s contract is in line with PCB’s new parental policy, which was announced on May 4.

Winner Of The PCB’s Women’s Emerging Cricketer 2020
Fatima Sana, the winner of the PCB’s Women’s Emerging Cricketer of the Year Award in2020, was promoted to a Category central contract, while the other eight cricketers who were given Emerging Contracts last year were kept.
Awarding One Player For on-field performance
The PCB also revealed that the women’s national selection committee has declared an available space in the central contracts to award one player for great on-field performance throughout the year to incentivize top performers.
Women’s players, on the other hand, will see a 10% increase in their monthly salary this year across the board.
All central contracts were issued after taking into account on-field performances over the previous year, both internationally and domestically, as well as potential commitments. The only other Category A contract recipient, Javeria Khan, will continue to captain the national team in the three T20Is and five ODIs against the West Indies in Antigua.
Hosting England For Two T20Is and Three ODIs
In October, they will host England for two T20Is and three ODIs before competing in the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier in December, with the World Cup and Commonwealth Games set for 2022.
