BCCI in no hurry to decide venue for IPL 2021

The Chief Executives Committee (CEC) of the International Cricket Council (ICC) met virtually recently May 6 and the CEOs did not talk about UK as a potential place for the Indian Premier league (IPL) .The International Cricket Council (ICC) studied the calendar post for 2023.

There was a short talk on cricket in the Olympics.  It was brief and nothing essential . The Olympic Committee of the International Cricket Council (ICC) will have to report to the Chief Executives Committee (CEC).

Projected Change Of Venue

No visible move on the proposed change of venue of the T20 WC either, from India to United Arab Emirates (UAE) this coming October to November With the Indian Premier League (IPL) ending unexpectedly.

“I did hear about the discussion but I am not sure how it can happen. As per the current arrangement, it will be illegal to host the IPL here,” the veteran administrator said.

The BCCI will have to deal with the ICC in the end so that the two do not conflict over UAE, which could be the best possible option for both the tournaments – Indian Premier League (IPL) as well as the T20 WC.
