Bangladesh To Adopt Rotation Policy After T20 World Cup
After the T20 World Cup later this year, Bangladesh Cricket Board president Nazmul Hassan said that the team will implement a rotation policy. The athletes have been speaking out against the rotation policy, citing bio-bubble weariness as well as time away from their families as factors.

How To Apply The Rotation Strategy
The board, according to Nazmul, will have to figure out how to apply the rotation strategy and possibly form different teams. They are, however, hampered at this time, with Pakistan scheduled to tour for two Tests and three T20Is in November and December. After that, Bangladesh will fly to New Zealand to compete in the same amount of matches as Pakistan.
“We will start rotation policy after the T20 WC” the BCB chief said. “I think we cannot do it now, but if we want to compete in the big league, there is no option other than having different teams for different formats”
“The Test and ODI squads cannot be the same. The big teams have separate teams, so they don’t have any problem as they can give rest to a lot of cricketers, but in our case, some of the cricketers play all the formats.
“But I think after the T20 WC, we have to go for separate teams because we don’t have any other option. Pakistan will come to play after the World Cup while we are expected to go to New Zealand at that point. So naturally, we will need two teams because there is a quarantine issue and players need to go there early.”
Annual General Meeting
The forthcoming AGM of the board, according to Nazmul Hasan, will most likely be postponed because of the countrywide hard lockdown. On July 7, BCB will hold its annual general meeting. Nazmul’s second term is slated to expire in September of this year, and the board is required by the constitution to hold an election within 45 days.
“We will decide regarding the AGM after seeing one week,” Nazmul said. “It’s difficult to say whether we can host it on time because the shutdown is extended, we will have to reschedule the AGM because we don’t want to host it just for the sake of it if.”
